Cost to play:

  • Members - No Cost
  • Non-Members - Daily Drop In Fee of $35 (paid through this registration process)

 

Sign up and compete as a Individual, rotating partners among all other participants.  

 

What is a Round Robin Challenge and how does it work? 

  • up to 20 players sign up individually.
  • Each player will play in at least 4 games of pool play. you will play these 4 games with 4 different partners
  • You score a point for each game you win in those 4 games of pool play.  We track games wins and total points accumulated across the 4 pool play games.
  • Players are ranked after pool play is completed based on (1) game wins - if ties then (2) point totals, if still tied, (3) greatest points scored in round 5, then round 4, then round 3 etc. until a tie is broken.
  • after the 5 rounds are up, each player will be placed onto a court with players who finished identically in the standing (four 1st place finishers, four 2nd place finishers, four 3rd place finishers, etc.)
  • the bottom players from each court will be eliminated and can go into open play
  • The top players from each court will move to the "championship court" where they will play another 3 games to determine the overall winner of the round robin

 

What is the Game Format?

  • Pool play games are a single game to 11, win by 1

 

Do I need a partner to play in this tournament?

No, no defined partners for this event. Just sign up for this one as an individual.

 

 

Please read the following prior to signing up for this event.

 

  • Participation expectations

If a player signs up for an event, the following will be expected of them

  1. The player will be on time for the start of the event
  2. The player will stay throughout the duration of the event
  3. The player will exhibit good sportsmanship
  4. The player will give proper notice (at minimum 12 hours) to Ace Pickleball Club either via email, phone or in person if they are unable to participate in the event

 

  • Policies regarding participation
  1. Any player that is to register for an event, and does not show up to the event without any notice will be blocked from signing up for the events for 1 month.
  2. Any player that shows up after the 10 minute grace period will be given a warning. If a second offense is to occur, they will be blocked from signing up for events for 1 month
  3. Any player that gives notice of cancelation with 12 hours of the event will be given a warning. If a second offense is to occur, they will be blocked from signing up for events for 1 month
  4. Any player that chooses to leave the event prior to its conclusion will be given a warning.  If a second offense is to occur, they will be blocked from signing up for events for 1 month

 

Refund Policy

CANCELLATIONS
Withdrawals from the tournament 7 days prior to the event will receive a full refund.  All cancellation notifications must be emailed to solonoh@acepickleballclub.com.  

No refunds or credits for any reason for cancellations within 6 days of the event.
